The result was
an excellent dive-training site we call "the
ultimate playground for divers." Today Barracuda Alley provides a habitat
for huge schools of baitfish, spadefish, tons of
barracuda, the occasional turtle, and even a 200 pound Jewfish called
the reef home for a while! And the
project continues to grow! Huge chunks of concrete are being
placed in the sand around the barge to make this huge dive site even
more expansive, providing additional habitat for marine life and a wider
area for divers to enjoy and explore! Stay tuned to this site as
progress reports keep coming in!
