Charter Questions
I rented equipment for the charter, where do I pick it up?
All charter rental equipment will be waiting for you when you check in at the marina office in the morning.
Will there be someone underwater with us?
No, unless you are in a class or have paid for a guide, there will not be one of our crew members with you.
How do I get to the wreck and navigate it without a guide?
We use a downline system that leads directly from our boat and is physically tied into the wreck. We call it the highway to the wreck! On the site, one of our dive professionals will run a wreck reel throughout the site. All of the information will be discussed during our dive briefing on the way to the site.
Retail Questions
Do you service equipment?
Yes, we service Scubapro equipment in house. Other brands will be sent to appropriate technicians based on brand.
I want to buy gear but I have no idea where to start. Will there be someone there to help me?
Yes, we have staff that will be able to assist you. You can also call to set up a consultation with one of our dive professionals.
Do you buy/sell used gear?
No, we cannot buy/sell used equipment due to liability.
Classes Questions
Do I have to be certified to go scuba diving?
No, but you MUST successfully complete a Discover Scuba Diving pool session with our staff before diving on our dive boat.
How long is my dive certification good for?
Your certification never expires, however, if it’s been more than a year you will need to do a refresher or reactivate course.
