Emergency First Response Instructor (EFRI) Course

Why take this course?

The EFRI course provides qualified individuals with the additional training necessary to teach the four courses-Primary Care (CPR), Secondary Care (First Aid), CPR & AED, and Care for Children.  This course builds on the instructor candidates’ skills as primary and secondary care providers and focuses on developing their instructional abilities.  Through independent study, classroom sessions, and practice teaching assignments, instructor candidates learn to conduct the full range of EFR courses.

This course meets the prerequisite for attending the PADI IE, and is conducted in conjunction with the IDC, or independently for those wishing to achieve this level of certification but who do not wish to become a scuba instructor at the present time.
